Why We Exist
At Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled – USA, our mission is to empower persons with disabilities and individuals from underserved communities to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.
Across the world, millions of people are excluded from education, employment, sports, and cultural spaces—not because of disability, but because society fails to include. Samarthanam exists to change that reality.
We work to dismantle systemic barriers and replace them with opportunity—ensuring that talent, ambition, and dignity are never limited by circumstance.
How We Bring Our Mission to Life
Education
Education is the foundation of independence. Through structured programs, mentorship, and long-term academic support, we ensure children and youth with disabilities have access to quality education and equal opportunity to succeed.
Art & Culture
Through platforms like Sunadha USA, we celebrate artistic excellence by performers with disabilities, challenging perceptions and redefining what inclusion looks like on global stages.
Sports & Leadership
With initiatives such as the Cricket Association for the Blind – USA (CABUSA), sports become a powerful tool for confidence, leadership, and community—proving that ability always outweighs limitation.
